  • So..... my Xmas 2004 standings are:

American Express Blue = £1,450 @ 4.9% APR fixed until paid off.
    NatWest visa = £465 @ 5.9% until paid off.
    Capital One visa = £300 @ 1.94% until 15th May 2004 - and -
    Alliance & Leicester visa = £160 @ 3.9% APR fixed until March 2004.

    Hope that's clearer ?

P.S. HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL AND BEST WISHES FOR 2004 !

Happy New Year to you all  ;)

Right then, had my latest Amex.Blue statement today and was horrified to see they'd slapped me with a £20 late payment fee as my account was more than 30 days overdue ????

Went back through all my statements and guess what, I never received my December statement :(

Phoned them up and explained this and they said as I'm a good payer, they'd waive this £20 fee, but....

Will this late payment (which isn't MY fault as I never recieved my statement) affect my credit record now as it is technically a late payment in their eyes.... I do hope NOT as I have NEVER missed a payment / been late before :(

    Bye,

    I hope so.

I still never received that missing December 2003 statement :(

But, I did get a letter today saying I should spend £500 before March or else I'd have to pay the £15 annual card fee :o

(I only use it for Balance Transfer you see !)

    A & L :  £75 owed @ 3.9% until March 04.

  • You know, at times, I get mixed up as to what exactly I'm meant to be paying off first, as priority !

I know it's the highest APR rated card but with all these mini-balance transfer rates I have taken advantage of I get in way over my head at times :-[ ::) ???

C'est la vie et al !!!

    Hi Rochdale Guy

Don't blame you. Its been quite complicated hasn't it? But at least this month and next your priorities seem fairly clear. Your A&L will have to be cleared by next month anyway, so then you'll just start back at the top with the MBNA.

Well done for what you've cleared so far. Remember to close the A&L account next month (or at least go through the motions of closing it and see what they offer you ;) ). Not sure I need to tell you that now though. Seems like you're becoming quite adept at wangling lower rates out of these companies. :)
