Anyone want to sell Jack Nicklaus £5 notes?

They are being sold for huge amounts on ebay and yet anyone can go into a Royal Bank of Scotland and get them.
RBS have branches all over the south. e.g. Basildon, Peterborough, London etc.

oooh I hadn't even heard of those notes! Just looked at a few listing and seems the americans are snapping them up...might be worth popping into my RBOS tomorrow and asking if they have any lol

How much is it to go into RBS and buy one of these notes? I thought it would be a fiver but hubby seems to think it will be more.....

Just face value. When asking for money you say that you want the J.Nicklaus notes.
It's quite funny that a selling point on ebay is that the sellers say they have notes with consecutive numbers. Everyone has as they are new!!!!!:rolleyes:

i see they have only produced 2 million,i think 1.99999999 million are already on e-bay:D .i think those who didnt get in early might get a shock with their profits(supply and demand)even the americans might catch on (eventually) that they can just get them at face value plus postage by e-mailing rbs.

Doh, i was being a bit daft then, not being a golf fan I thought you meant the American bloke who starred in movies such as 'A few good men', 'Batman', 'As good as it gets' etc etc.... And I wondered why the RBS would want him on a fiver! lol!

Then penny dropped, or at least the £5 did when I realised you were talking about someone I'd never heard of and not Jack Nicholson!!

I would grab these quick if you want to resell.
Half of the branches in Edinburgh don't have any left and that includes the Head Office Branch !!
Those that still have them are limiting them to 4 per customer.
