HI all,
If I have for example 10k in A&L esaver that pay no interest in a month with a withdrawal - am I correct in assuming if I was to withdraw say 5k, the 5k left would be 0% for that month - loosing me just under £20???
It that right or am I just having a nightmare?
Thanks guys, sorry if it seems a simple question but I just want to be sure

There's a thread somewhere on here on how to lose least if you need a withdrawal from the Direct Saver.
Basically it's something like this:
you take the whole balance out (less £1 to keep it open, if you want) then move it somewhere else that does pay interest for the remainder of the month. You can then pay the remainder back next month, if you wish.Debbie0 -
aHa!!
Wahoo Thanks - that works for me - I was thinking it would have to be all or nothing - excellent idea/suggestion Thanks DebbieThis site is just excellent :T0
