I'm with FD. I use either telephone or internet. If I want to deposit any cash/cheques I put money into their machine (can't think what it's proper name is)in the towns main HSBC branch.

It's very rare that I need counter service

I bank with FD too and I very rarely get cheques because I ask anyone who wants to give me a cheque to pay themoney into my account.

I only every go near a bank to get cash out of the ATM.

  • I bank with Nationwide which i absolutely love only thing is you can take money out of your account at the post office but you can't pay into it. So in your circumstances do not pick nationwide.
