I have a problem with the website https://www.ultramusicstore.com
What has happened is that I ordered several copies of a rare Enya DVD (to sell on) totalling over £50 ($80) by Visa Card but then realised that there is no way that this company could get hold of more than one copy of this (and I also discovered that there were bootleg copies going around) so I cancelled the order by email. After a slow response and them trying to get out of refunding me, they did finally agree to refund me after several weeks and emails.
Well, I am still waiting for a refund about 3 - 4 months after the original order was placed. They kept on saying that the refund was being processed by their bank.
I am annoyed that I placed an order from them in that the only contact details are 3 email addresses listed on the website. I don't even know what country they are from but they took days to reply to emails, if at all and then it was short replies in poor English so it is possible that they are Eastern European.
I have all the copies of the emails that were sent (around 8 of them) and received and my payment is listed on my bank statement.
I have just reported them on a rip off website and posted about them on some music newsgroups.
Don't touch them with a bargepole.

Contact your credit card company and dispute the transaction. Say the company took the money before despatching the goods and in fact haven't sent anything (they aren't supposed to do this). The CC company should refund your money.0

OK, I thought about it but wasn't sure whether Visa did this but will look into it.

I regret I did not find this site earlier. How does it happen that this Ultramusicstore still exists??? I ordered (luckily) 1 DVD with music from them. It took them 2,5 months to process my order, but if not my frequent emails, I wouldn't have probably got it at all or maybe after half a year? The DVD was not cheap, meaning - if I were to buy it in UK, I would pay the same price. I ordered it there, having no idea that the seller is located in Sankt Petersburg - Russia. Their website is created in a correct English language with no word on their location. I learnt the location from their order confirmation where they wrote that I should allow 7-20 business days for delivery from Russia. The order was to be shipped within 1-3 business days, but it took them 2 months to ship it and 1,5 week to deliver. The charge of my credit card was about 1,5 GBP more than stated in their order confirmation. The DVD, I received, was a disaster - a copy of clips from youtube which I could create myself too. Listed songs' titles do not match the ones on DVD. The communication with the seller was none. Only once they apologized for a delay in shipping saying: "We was on holidays. Order will be shipped today", but it was shipped over a month later. I was wondering where else I could place my warning for people who want to order anything from them. Do you have any idea? This company still exists. I see the first post here from chivvy dated July 2005!!! Please avoid this seller.0

Can't be that bad, only one complaint every 3 years!0

Well, I don't think everybody is aware of the fact that we write about this seller here. If it was a kind of eBay, I'm sure that Ultramusicstore had most of the negative feedbacks.0

I'm also gutted I didn't see this thread before I used ultramusicstore. The website is very professional looking and I remember stopping myself ordering from them a couple of times before deciding to take the plunge (I was a bit put off by the lack of telephone contact details). I figured that as the costs were in Euros the creators may not have been confident about using telephone numbers rather than emails. As you say it turns out to be Russian and I was charged much more than the final order. Also the DVD still hasn't turned up 2 months on!
Worse still a few days after using the website some swine was trying to use my credit card to buy stuff on the internet. Luckily my bank spotted the unusual transactions and phoned me about it. At the time I agreed that the St Petersburg payment (the ultramusicstore payment) was legitimite as I didn't link the two events. Obviously for legal reasons I can't say for definite that my card details were swiped as a result of using the website but anyone reading these posts won't have that problem as they should be deterred from using the site regardless! I'm now stuck in terms of getting a refund as I have a new credit card and there's no way I'm sharing the number with them!0 -
ultramusicstore.com - the real swindler!!! My girlfriend has bought there counterfeit DVD which has been burned on DVD-R!!! It is simple a disgrace... Besides its billing - the real fake!!! I do not know as they process payment (through what Russian or Chinese banks) - but its credit card have accused for the sum which was more than it is declared on a site...
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING - BILLING GOES BY A DIRECT ROUTE TO THE SELLER (IT IS NOT PROTECTED IN ANY WAY, ANY CERTIFICATES IN GENERAL) - THAT IS ACTUALLY YOU INFORM THE SELLER ALL DATA of YOUR CREDIT CARD - AND ALLOW IT TO DISPOSE of YOUR MONEY UNDER ITS DISCRETION... I WOULD NOT ADVISE TO ANYBODY TO BUY ON THIS SITE...0 -
I do not understand this negative feedback. For the past 3 years my husband and I buy CD's and DVD's in that store and no problems. The seller is absolutely adequate - resolve all claims in favor of the buyer.
I believe that reviews by people dummies.
Thanks.
Sorry, for my bad english. :undecided0 -

Your bad English is fine, your bad spamming and trying to defend your company isn't

I have used the site on and off for a couple of years and my only criticism is postage times but considering goods nearly always get caught up in customs (never had charges) I think they have some great stuff! The site is honest enough to say delivery to UK is up to 20 business days / 4 weeks. I recommend paying a quid extra for insured delivery as you get a tracking number that can be traced on Russia post website.0
