Beware of 'My Stuff'

Watch out for a policy called 'My Stuff' being run by Barclaycard.

It offeres to provide cover for loss or damage to your portable 'stuff': mobile phone, MP3, camera, sat nav etc for a monthly fee.

There is I found a catch :- I found that once my 'stuff' is 3 years old it's no longer covered by the policy. I was told by my stuff that I should go out and buy new 'stuff' and put that on my policy!! If you dont after a couple of years you can find your paying a monthly fee to cover you for nothing as all your 'stuff' has to be registered with them, price, brand, model, serial no etc otherwise it's not covered.

Your better off adding these sort of items to your househould policy as 'items outside the home' as this usually covers them no matter what their age and 'new for old' on most good policys.

'My Stuff' is nothing more than a con !
