Didn't mean to sell that... (naughty pictures)

Having a clear-out recently, I picked up an old Sony Ericsson phone that was still in its box complete with charger, PC suite etc... I looked it up on some of the phone recycling websites but it was worthless, so I decided to bung it on eBay instead (it was well-used with several scratches on it).
Anyway, someone bought it and I sent it over to them without thinking.
Last night, I realised... I didn't restore it to factory settings, and it's got rude pictures on it! (I was young, my partner was into PVC... it doesn't make me a bad person).
Now, obviously I'm a bit embarassed to think that some stranger's now got these pics and, realistically, is probably having a good laugh down the pub with them. But I'd also quite like a copy myself (they were good!). :rotfl:
What's a reasonable way to approach this? Or do I just need to get over myself and forget about it (remembering to restore factory settings next time!!!)?

Hee hee, did you save photos to sim, you could ask them to post you back the sim card and you can send them a new one, theres loads of freebies sims about.
Or maybe ask her to bluetooth them on to her pc and email you them:rotfl:
Dont mean to laugh, but this is so funny, probably something i`d do:rotfl:2013 Sealed Pot Challenge Member #1960

It was so long ago, I don't even remember what the pics were stored on...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
i would do as the above explain that you did'nt mean to leave the sim card in the phone (perhaps you could say it has some important numbers left on it) i would say that it had some photos that cannot be replaced, but obviously you dont want him to start having a gander, and that you will send him a prepaid envelope perhaps with a new sim in it (not sure if o2 are still giving away free sims) if not and you are stuck tescos have some really cheap sims and if he could kindly return it to you.
does he have good reliable feedback?

I'm not even sure about the situation with the SIM - it was my old contract phone (upgraded 2 years ago), so the card may not even work any more..? I sold it purely as a handset with charger, not a package.
Yes, his feedback is fine... why?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Ooooops!
Thanks for the giggle and I hope you and your partner can see the funny side, as for getting the pics back you could warn them of the content too as you wouldn't want them to be offended.
Not sure how many pics can be stored on a sim, i suspect very few, so they would have to upload them to a pc and email you them, which would mean they would view them.
Honesty is best and most people are honest, so just be upfront and ask if they could send you the pics, but add that if they are easily offended, or the phone is being given to a minor you maybe should advise they delete them without opening them and apologise for the mistake.
With a bit of luck they may see the funny side as we all are!Do You Twitter?
