Advice needed-How to deal with a new seller? Postage & misdescription!

I'd like a bit of advice please.
I bought on ebay and didn't get everything and the postage was too high.
Five days ago I bought some plumbing parts for my central heating. I paid the Buy-It-Now price because some extra valves were included compared to similar listings for less money. I paid £15 P&P.
The packet arrived with postage paid of just £7.25. The exta valves were not included.
I emailed the seller about the missing parts. I was surprised to get an insulting email back about my plumber! I emailed again. The seller apologised, having misunderstood what the parts were & agreed there were no valves included. The seller said I should send it back for a refund.
Problem is I doubt the seller will refund the return postage. Seller is new to ebay, has a 100% sell rating of only 7. Also my plumber needs the parts now.
Should I also mention the inflated postage charge to the seller. Ideally, I want a partial refund.
Please help soon. Your advice is appreciated!

I'm sure they know about the inflated postage.
Fact is, you agreed to it when you bid. They were probably just guessing what it would cost. Didn't you think it was a tad high?
You could mention it, but they have no obligation to give you a partial refund. If you feel strongly about it, you could report them and mark them down on their star ratings. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Hi Fay
If all the plumbing parts I bid for had been included it would have been a bigger and heavier pack and the postage would have been higher.
I now have to pay for valves elsewhere which I had bid and paid for!0 -
I guess this is these are the risks of buying on ebay...0
