we have stayed on an italian estate which has been renovated by the owner in the Le Marche region which i would highly recommend in August because the weather is relatively cool...............
www.traditionaltuscany.com , i have also sent friends there and they have loved it. nice small company specialising in renovated estates..............good prices in high season as well!0 -
I found exactly the same problem when thinking of going to Italy last summer - there seems to be a lack of 2-3 bedroomed villas with private pools. You can get the house-without the pool , or 2 bedroom apartments which are part of a huge house with shared pool. We were looking in all areas of Italy without success. I wish you luck.0
