Fisher Price toy - would you complain

    fisher priced were very good with my sister - she wrote asking could she buy some more bits for one of their toys as her small son had lost them and they sent her some FOC

    I doubt TS would be interested if she got her money back - as I'm sure she will from FP. I think the manufacturer will act accordingly and investigate the danger - in my experience they do try to keep good standards.

    Trading Standards would always be interested in this sort of matter particularly when a child has been injured. (at least the office I work for would). You never know what a manufacturer or importer will do once the consumer has been satisfied with a refund or replacement. IMO complaining direct to the company and letting Trading Standards investigate is usually the best course of action, and more likely to get a potentially dangerous product withdrawn or redesigned if appropriate.
