Hi everyone!!
- Checked internet banking - nice surprise - for some reason on my spreadsheet I had written £200 less wage for my husband than he normally gets!! So obviously I have £200 more than I thought with left til the end of the month! Updated spreadsheet accordingly £340 left to last three weeks rather than £140!
-
I took my lunch into work - something that had been languishing in the freezer for quite a while, A WW Lasagna ready-meal and very nice it was too.
-
There were - amazingly - still some Celebrations chocolates leftover from yesterday at work, so I enjoyed some (lots) more of those!!!
-
Left debit cards at home to avoid temptation.
-
Did 1.5 hours overtime (running total £140.55 for April's wage).
-
Posted on this thread - eighth day in a row - still committed.
-
Walker's Sunbites were half price in Tesco so I bought a six pack for next week's lunches...(but then ate 4 packs over the course of the afternoon as they are so moorish)
-
Have not made any cash withdrawals for personal use for a whole week!
-
Last week at work we ordered a takeaway from a local deli. I ordered a caramel waffle for a dessert and when it arrived the waffle was burnt inside and too hard to eat. They ordered another takeaway today, and the girl who ordered it told them my waffle the previous week had been inedible, so I got another one for free!
-
As per above, I did not spend money on buying something for lunch from the deli.
-
Finally got some small change to put in my pint-pot.
Start Date: 27/11/2010

Evening
Today I:
* used my bus pass to go here, there and everywhere!
* collected my prescription and used my exemption card to 'pay'
* posted of a RISI book
* decided to give the pub a miss tonight and have an early night
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Today we:
Fixed the washing machine so saved needing a new one (what was wrong you ask well an 18 month old, crayons and the washing machine don't mix apparently!)
Didn't go out for DD birthday, everyone here has a cold and she is too young to really remember so stayed in and rented shrek the third instead, so instead of spending 20 pounds spent 3.75. Her homemade chocolate birthday cake went down really well and since its the first year she really knows a bit of whats going on got really embarrassed when we sang happy birthday.
Did clicks and any surveys that can up, just need 2 more points on globaltestmarket.
Got asked to sell at the next NCT nearly new sale, cant wait for that, but have to go organise all the stuff we have.0 -

Thanks splishsplash:Dsplishsplash wrote: »Morning everyone!
Friday, woohoo!
Today I will:- [strike]
- finish cleaning the car (thought I did a great job last night, but it still looks rubbish in daylight:o )[/strike] Yes, best I could...
- [strike]get the washing dry indoors[/strike] Better again, today turned out to be lovely, so they went out on the line
- storecupboard meals No - we had a funeral to go to this evening, so we're only home now, and pizzas are heating in the oven...
- [strike]update spending diary and accounts, see what my bottom line is for the car, and then what my absolute bottom line is...[/strike]Yes, but I don't think my bottom bottom line will be enough
- do a top-up shop in Lidl's tonight after test-run No - had to get back for the funeral
- [strike]get work travel forms filled in and ready to send for next week[/strike] Yes
- clear housework tonight to free me for summer project work at weekend Just about to start into it now...
I hope you had a great birthday bash with your friends, Sophiesmum!
We had a lovely time - good food, good wine and good friends:beer: we had a really great couple of hours, felt like we laughed the whole night
.
Tomorrow night I have to do it all again as going out for big family meal to celebrate dad's birthday;)
. Think the diet will have to start on monday after this lot:o
Have you decided what you are doing about the car yet????, I would love a new car as my runaround is about 10 years old, but it is perfectly good for what I want it for and still only has 35000 miles on clock so really a new one would be a waste of money.
Maybe when DD learns to drive I can give her mine and justify getting a new one
