Mine arrived today also. Had to phone virgin to register the sim and get the £2 added (which takes between 24 and 48 hours) and looks like i'll have to wait the 8 days for carphone warehouse to credit the sim.

Great phone though for the price. Mind i can't receive a call on it as yet, dunno if its cos the sim is newly registered ?
A male chef of 4. My restaurant is always full and i don't need to tout for business.
    OK OK
I'm a house husband but it did sound better my way

Your £2 will show up tomorrow.

Presumed there would be a quid already on the sim - but no sign just have to wait for the £2 for registering I suppose (says within 48 hours in the blurb).

The mobile is locked to Virgin, to unlock it will cost anythimg up to £5.00 as it need a cable and software (so I have been told). I bought the mobile and it's a good deal, but in my case I cannot get a Virgin signal where I live, so it's pretty useless even with the £10.00 credit :(

    received phone today.

    very flimsy plastic construction.

very limited features; phone in and out, text messaging and alarm clock, calculator and handsfree speaker.

cant complain for the price; a phone plus £12 airtime, plus £5 from quidco!

its a bargain by any standard and I will use it for competition entries very much in the way i use a spam email address to avoid being bothered by sales people.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

    Just got mine:D

I noticed that the little booklet with the SIM card says that you can return the SIM within 28 days for a full refund. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the £10 refunded from the SIM and keep the phone? Is it worth going onto a CPW store and asking or will they laugh me out of the store:o

I have some of the free £5 Virgin SIM cards which I intend to use in the phone.
  • Mine came yesterday and had £20 already on it and Ive just registered for my extra £2 online ~ woooooohooooo. All I need now is for £10 to go on it in 8 days and I will die happy lol.....
