I had a voucher today at last, but i dont want it why would i want to shop in currys how daft. I should get cash compensation to spend where i want. I think i will return it. It wasnt nearly enough for all the hassle either.

Dont let them win.
I had a problem with my TV in August 07. It was out of warranty, and the store told me they didnt have to fix it. - Liar
After consulting trading standards and the sale of goods act, they finally agreed that it hadnt lasted an acceptable amount of time (18 months) and would arrange an engineer would come and fix the TV.Target: £145,000 for 2008why aim low? I want my mortgage paid for!Otherwise... only 30 years to go to pay off!!!Comp wins: zip, zero + other words beginning with a 'z'.:rolleyes:0 -
im thinking of returning voucher and asking for the cash instead. Why send me a voucher for their store. That means i have to use it in their store and i dont want to go in there? Does anyone think its a good idea to return voucher with letter.:footie:0

if it was a geasture of goodwill then no they won't give you cash.
if it was to cover your loses in some way them yes go ahead and ask.
otherwise sale it on ebay for 50% of the value0 -
it says gesture of goodwill but it means i have to spend it in their shop dosent it seems wrong to me.
The letter of explanation as to why what happened happened was rubbish. Just a sorry and goodwill voucher. It ruined my xmas i dont think its satisfactory.:footie:0 -
well depending on what happened this may actually be a good result. Unless you inform people of your problem they can't make a more informed decission.0
