OS drawer freshners...

I spoilt myself the other day when I was in town to a bubble bath crumbly thing from Lush. Now before you have a go at how expensive they are then I split them into 3 or 4 so I get a couple of gorgeous baths from it!

Now on the back it said "re-use" and they suggested using the bag in your knicker or sock drawer to make it all smell yummy! Have to admit I thought that was a fab idea and probably would apply to wrappers from less expensive soaps too?
I know mine will certainly be living in my knicker drawers from now on! :rotfl:

My Nana told me years ago about putting soap into drawers and I have ben doing it ever since. A cheap vanilla one is realy nice and any citrus type one lasts for ages. Just as a wee side line she also used to pop a soap bar into old tights/stockings and throw it over the clothes rail in wardrobe so that all of her clothes niffed of lemons!!

This reminds me of the classic newspaper misprint, "Fragrance your undies by putting empty perfume bottles in your drawers".

I love lavender bags...........memories of my gran. And I put those little bars of soap in .......the sort you get as presents that are too pretty to use as soap.

I've always put opened bars of soap in my undies-drawer. I found it helps to harden the soap and make it last longer.

My nan used to put lavender soap in the blanket box when I was a child, to keep moths away and make the sheets/blankets smell nice as well.
