Continuing with having no heating on this week after getting my winter bill through from Scottish Power and deciding that I'd rather just put on more clothes and sit with a hot water bottle than feed their pockets;
Went to Tesco and wombled;
Did some pigsback stuff..........Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Well done to MR Headoutthesand on the new job!!!!!!!
Was thinking about you both earlier and wondering how the interviews had gone. Must be a weight of your mind:T :T :T
Thanks SM
He went for the interview last wednesday but got told he was unsuccessful. He really wanted this one so was a bit gutted. Then he got a phone call out the blue today saying they had reconsidered and wanted to offer him the job and that he starts on sunday night.
Long story but he lost his job after 'acquiring' a conviction and going down the disciplinary road so I think it put most people off. I'm thinking that they offered the job to someone else and either A. they rejected it or B. couldn't start on time. Probably A but hey ho - he's got a job and i don't care how it came about

Evening everyone!
Today I have:- turned heating down to half hour am and pm - the cold has gone, but the rain is here:(
- had leftover stew for dinner, and fed kids plus kids' friends easily with it - one friend even asked for seconds of the lovely chicken (it was beef stew!):rotfl:
- faltered seriously, went so far as to phone the car valet number - but didn't go through with the call :T
- they rang me back :eek: but I told them I didn't need them after all :A
- spent two hours this evening cleaning out my car, including washing seats and carpets - still not finished:o
- phoned the car dealership, arranged to view new car tomorrow and get a price for mine (hence the cleaning
) - realised I can get a cheque for €1000 from Citroen if I buy and register the car before Fri 29th Feb....:eek: :cool:
- payday today (woohoo!), so updated accounts and spending diary, more put into kitchen fund

- went to vet's again to pick up stuff I forgot, told them to offer my leftover dog meds to another patient (whose owners were thinking of putting down the dog because of the condition
)
Congrats on the new job Mr Headoutthesand!!I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I think it's because they are 'designer' but it's only Lacoste body lotions and they aren't showing. Anyone else experienced this?
Congratulations on your husband getting a job! :T
With reference to Ebay it has happened to me before. Not sure why - pretty random and on popular listings perhaps. I does finally appear within the first 24 hours from memory. I panicked when it happened to me for the first time.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
