Hi, apologies as I'm sure this has been raised before but I am thinking about going vegetarianish (!) as I think it might be cheaper if I eat stuff like lentils, soya chunks and the soup/bean mix that is in the shops. Has anyone got any good tips/recipes for soya chunks etc? Also for the bean mix, I have tried it before and my soups aren't at all tasty, are their any recipes about please?

Hi,
There are likely to be some recipes that you can use or adapt in these threads:-
- Gingham's Vegetarian Meal Planner
- Gingham's vegetarian meal planner - SUMMER
- Gingham's vegetarian menu planner SPRING
Plus, I should think that any soya mince recipe could be adapted to use chunks, so there are plenty of other threads on soya such as these that should help...

Do you mean TVP mince from Santirium (sp) in a box. If you do I have a really nice recipe using it. It's a fab base for a shepards pie, meat pie etc.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
