When you do your I&E don't include the tax credits as you don't have them as yet. You are obviously living beyond your means at the moment so if asked say you have applied for TC's and are also taking steps to get things under control.
Have you checked www.entitledto.com to see if you are recieving all you should be?

how much is your house contents insurance? don't have You have pet ins. but no contents  . Check Martins article in the tabs above and work out how much it would be and as soon as you can get some. Estimate £20
Assuming building ins is included in the mortgage?I don't "officially" earn anything as when he applied for Tax Credit (currently still waiting) they told him if I signed on he wouldn't get any.
He has to travel 15 miles to work every day.
Clothing allowance looks a bit low to me, ok we don't buy clothes much but still it seems a bit low.
I would aim to get your I&E around about £1200 mark to account for TC's. Be aware that some of these may be cut/disallowed, it depends on the OR. You will be allowed you essential outgoing plus a £99 surplus before an IPA is thought about.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hi,
I think I have to go with him because he's suffering from depression at the moment and burying his head in the sand so the danger is he will want to be in and out asap. I noticed on the form where you can explain how it all came about you have 4000 words allocated and he used about 20, the story is not all cut and dried and I think I seriously need to expand on his version after all it's all the judge has to go by.
Will let you know when it's all over.0 -

- Forms 6.27 & 6.28 - However many copies your court needs from you.
- Forms and proof of benefits/income if you are applying for fee exemption.
- Fees - £150 + £335 per person.
- Something to drink - Court coffee at mine was NASTY.
- Something to read - Can be a long wait at some courts.
- Money for the pub on the way home.:p

Will we be exempt from any of the fees, I seemed to have £335.00 as the total figure in my head? Where will we find out how many copies of the forms? We've just been told to turn up before 10:00am?0
-
Three copies are normally required.
But some courts ask you to make 3 copies yourself and bring them with you, while others (like mine) ask you to bring only one which they then copy themselves.
Bit tricky if you don't know which.
