Goldfish - delay in clearing cheques

in Credit cards
In the last few months, I have found that Goldfish have extended the number of days for cheque to clear before cleared funds are available. This has happened twice in the last three months. This week a cheque for over £1,200 which covered the full balance was cleared on my bank account on Monday 18th July but my credit card is still showing as uncleared funds.
Within their terms and conditions it does state "allow up to 10 workings days ..... as cleared funds".
I have used goldfish card for several years and each month have cleared the balance in full. Do they wish to get rid of me as do not pay any interest charges?

Why not use direct debit - it's far more convenient [Pay a cheque to yourself if it being drawn on a different account to your bank account - the 'clearing' period is 3 working days anyway]?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

I would recommend either using internet banking - money reaches the account within 3 days - or giving them a ring and paying by debit card.2014 Target;

Further to my above post, Goldfish have now confirmed that all cheques over £500.00 are subject to 6 days clearance.:rolleyes:0
