Need new programmed Citroen Xsara key fob

I am in need of a new Citroen Xsara key fob for my S reg car, just phoned local dealer and quoted £105.00!! The fob only does the central locking. Does any one know if I can get one cheaper? I have been looking on internet and found sites where they say you can program fob yourself, any one tried this?

i sell second hand key fobs on ebay, you can then take them to a indepenant and get them re coded for £35 ish

i have none on there at the moment, but i have a couple at home.

if you can find a picture of yours (from ebay or where ever) and send it over i can see if i have anything that matches

Hi how liable are they to work only i enquired about this with a local shop and i was told it hit and miss if they could be re-programmed but i would still be liable to pay even if it did not work
