Thanks! The biggest issues that I noticed through being passed from department to department at BT was that there was an inconsistency of understanding of BT policies and procedures between the departments, as well as a general lack of knowledge regarding what various departments can, and cannot do. I talked to a customer service rep who told me in no uncertain terms that I had been misold my original contract, and that I should ask the COT department to cancel the contract on this basis, only to be informed by the COT department that I had not been misold and that, even if I had, the cancellation would be dealt with by the broadband department, and not them. 3/4 of the time that I spent on the phone today involved repeating the same story again and again, and telling reps what their colleagues in different departments had just told me about the policies and procedures.0
