I spent a good long time chatting to someone who's tour I turned down, she actually made a point of coming to find me to ask why I said no and then she said she was dissapointed but hoped we'd work together in the future. So that was cool.
Do you hope she seeks you out again? Or would you not want to work with her....?0 -
oooh, jacs!!! I had to pop to the bank this morning and could have gone into town instead of Ashley Cross and said hello to you and Dan! We could have had a coffee or something in BHS or that sandwich place opposite Primark.
(that is, of course, if you would have wanted to meet a stranger from t'internet!   )

I would work with her, I turned it down mostly because of the wrist surgery, but I'm also at the stage of trying not to tour, I feel I need to be a bit more home based because of the kids. So, I'm happy to do the odd days here and there plus studio work but I just can't be doing 9 months a year on the road (which is what her tour would be).:A

sounds good jacs!!
Toto - I could be your bodyguard. Kylie had a blokey holding her arm when she went to the stage - I could just scowl menacingly at people you didn't want to talk to!

Hmmm interesting offers, keren you'd have your work cut out keeping me clear of folk I don't want to talk to :rotfl: would this include the NTL bloke who keeps calling with 'exciting' offers? How about the meter reading bloke who turns up unannounced when I am recovering from ahem 24 hour flu
and moans because he can't get to the meters because our CRAP (bloody 100k worth of drum kits you heathen) is in the way.
Then there's the school who call to tell me that they are marking Jassie down as an unauthorised absence next week, but can't see the irony that they are sending her home at 12 today because of some teacher's jolly they have planned this afternoon.
And all of that is since I crawled out of my death bed at lunchtime :rotfl:
So, still fancy the gig girls?
