    Part of the Furniture
    Arrived at last.
  • NO WII FIT !!!

Pre-ordered from Play.com rang earlier in the week and was told it would be dleivered today by parcel force. Took to day off to be here. It has not arrived checked website ...awaiting stock... Rang play.com they have no stocks of WII FIT and do not know when they will have. They have NOT dispatched to any customers! All they could advise me to do was ring Nintendo which I did and no answer. Now I have no hope of getting it anywhere else. If they had known they would not be able to honour pre-order they should have told their customers:mad:

We received ours at lunch time today from Play and the Parcel Force guy said he had another 50 to deliver. So do not believe them.

    Ours was ordered 27 February.
  • I've got one of these reserved at Argos Salford Regents Park store that I nolonger need.

"Will be held at the Salford Regents Park store until the end of Saturday, April 26th 2008."

If anyone wants the code let me know.

    Devs.

I have just got mine from Game too. It was still showing on parcel force as being in the depot, but a plain white van has just dropped it off.

Not to sure wether to open it now or wait till little one gets in from school.

I'd set it up for them. You'll need to sync it to the Wii console before they can play....anyway, it's always good to test things before the kids get on them!

I would take a quick look at ebay to see what scandal this latest must have wii item brings from the unscrupulous sellers. And would you believe it someone has successfully sold an Argos reservation code for £5!! Not to mention all the Wii Fits which have sold for over £100. It's a mad old world....

Sorry thats not unscrupulous sellers thats just mad buyers. If no-one bid they'd be paying fee's for nothing, but people do so it's worthwhile for people to do so.

Just like the fact they are foing for £100 or so, the blame falls on the biuyers not the seller, if they didn't bid them up in a buying frenzy they wouldn't sell.

Do Argos definately have the stock if it's reserved online?

I've just managed to bag one that's about 30 min drive from me, probably more in rush hour trafic. Don't want to get there and find they've 'mislaid' the reserved one!
I may be shy, but that doesn't make me an angel ;)

Trouble is though, many people see all the online shops are sold out and automatically think they will all be sold out in shops too, so look on ebay for them. They think that's the only place they can get them.

I do think it's a little unfair when people buy half a dozen of them and sell them on ebay - it means there are none left for anyone else in the shops, and those that do buy them on ebay pay a fortune for them. Even in Tesco last night the manager who was handing them out was asking us all how many we wanted!

Oh absolutely, I think the buyers are foolish to encourage it, there's really no need. But I do think it a tad unscrupulous to sell a reservation code whether or not the item was reserved for the sole purpose of selling. Just my opinion.
