Wii (FIT) fitness now WHERE TO FIND (UPDATED 27/4)

Game cancelled my pre-order because they had a "problem processing my credit card". Unlike 'proper' e-commerce' companies, they have no facility to put an order on hold and request updated payment details. I was told to place a new order on their web site. Of course, it is no longer possible to order a Wii Fit from them. Their customer service department is useless and charge 10p/min for an 0871 number (use www.saynoto0870l.com for the real number).
It wouldn't surprise me if this is just an excuse to cancel pre-orders that they can't supply.
I advise everyone to steer clear of Game as they are very unreliable and can't be trusted.
I have received the same email from Game . This must just be an excuse to cancel pre-orders they can't supply. Any ideas where I can order this from?

These are the quantities due into John Lewis branches for launch date, although I can not guarantee they will all receive them as Nintendo sometimes short-deliver, and sometimes things get held up between DC and store (3000 showing as due into the distribution centre on 21st April)

I've pre-ordered with both Dixons and Tesco. Neither has cancelled... yet. I only need one so should cancel one, but which is the more reliable? (probably neither...)0

Can anyone advise of the best way for me to pre-order this without paying until the 25th? (i don't get paid until then)
I ordered one from Tesco and one from Dixon's too and neither have actually taken the money from my credit card yet, I can check my credit card on line - if this helps! Like you Agent_C I only needed one and was going to cancel but now I have a taker for the second and I went through Quidco for both of them. :T:j Addicted to money saving0 -
Mine is still an open order from HMV so you can order from them and not have payment taken yet:)
Infact i don't know why but they have just sent another 2 emails saying you can pre-order as i'd asked when it became avaliable.Darren0 -
Please dont take it personally if it applies to you but i notice that several members of this and similar forums have ordered more than one items like the wii fit that are in short supply. (even though they only want one)
IMHO this does not help forum members like me who are looking for a reliable organisation to supply me with the product.
Is this being prudent or is it being selfish? I am sure other forum members will have a more considered opinion.
oh well I will keep looking.....It is better to contemplate writing a malicious comment that can make you appear stupid, than to write and confirm it.0 -

I did this myself, I ordered 1 from Game and 1 from WHSmiths. WHSmiths cancelled the order but luckily I still have the oeder from Game.0 -
Apologies if someone has already asked this but...
...do we know if Game will sell WiiFit at a lower price for a part-exchange for old games like they do for other stuff including MarioKart? I'd happily get rid of a couple of my less used Wii games if it means getting WiiFit for £40.0
