I was delighted when I managed to get one from Woolworths at the end of last week.

Got the despatch e-mail from Woolworths on Wednesday and came home from work on Thursday to find a card through the door from Parcelforce saying it was at the local Post Office. Yippee!!!

Son went to post office on Friday morning to pick it up - guess what - they don't have it. They said Parcelforce probably took it to the Royal Mail Sorting Office and they would need to wait till it got delivered to them.

Tried again this morning - Post Office still don't have it so went to Sorting Office as you can't get them on the phone. Was told Parcelforce would not have taken it to the Sorting Office as they close at 12.00 and that is the reaosn they get taken to the Post Office Counters.

Came home and contacted Parcelforce. They said it was handed in at the post office and they must have lost it. Phoned post office and they said "we don't have it on our system - do they have proof we received it".

Phoned Parcelforce back - they had a signature for it. Phoned Post Office - yes they do have someone by that name but they don't have the parcel. They must have posted it back out again . What happens now? It will probably get sent back to Parcelforce but they couldn't tell me what happens once it gets there - will the try to re-deliver it to me, send it back to Woolworths or sent it back to the Post Office?

Called Parcelforce yet again. The parcel hadn't been scanned by their driver or the post office so they don't actually know where it is although the driver remembers handing it into the post office. The think it will probably end up back with them but that could take weeks by the time it goes through their system. They advised me to call Woolworths for a refund/replacement and then claim from them.

Called Woolworths and explained all of the above. They can't process any refund/replacement because their contract is with Parcelforce and it looks like Royal Mail has lost the parcel. I just need to wait and see if it gets returned to Parcelforce.

In the meantime I am £70 out of pocket with no Wii fit and no idea when I am going to get it (if at all).

Did you purchase by credit card? if you did I would get onto them asap and say its has been lost in the post as they are partly responsible for any purchase... Furthermore, i would get intouch with consumerdirect.gov.uk they have always been very helpful when we have had a problem.

I did pay by credit card and to be honest I never actually thought of contacting them yet.

Guess what - further to my rant yesterday the Post Office have just called me (don't know how they got my number!!!) but they have found my parcel.

The "new girl" put it in a corner where nobody thought to look

I am going to pick it up now before they loose it again

GOT ONE at last from Gamestation. My hubby went in there in the morning last week and they said "No - and we won't be having any more yet" He had to go into town again in the afternoon and they................................ DID!!!!!!

I have got one from the German version of Amazon on its way, total £76 - if anyone is having problems sourcing one might be worth a shot. Am so happy :-)
PS you don't actually have to sepak German as the site is an exact replicate of the English one

search google for wii pre order and the site you require will be the top result click the fit stock link that is the site i used might not be the same one but very good.
