My Dad was in Glasgow today and asked in Game if they have any in stock, he was told they would be getting them in between 12-1pm today and that other Game stores should be getting some too. I'm in the south east so after he told me about it I rang up my local in Staines, Middlesex and they had a delivery of 6 so I managed to run down and bag one. Since then my aunt has managed to get herself one in the Gyle store in Edinburgh. It might be worth ringing up your local to check if they have had any deliveries today!0

just to say that after placing my order with game 10 mins after doing it online i phoned them to check that they had the order and they said that one had been allocated to me... that was on friday, the web page does say 3-5 working days so we all should get them by the latest friday....yeh right!

Gamestation in Bracknell had two Wii Fits just after lunchtime; I got one (bundled with the mat and rechargeable battery pack) and the other was being reserved until the end of today. Worth trying just before closing time, this evening.C'mon you Canaries!!0

been searching internet for weeks now for wii fit with no luck, went into town today (newport) went to hmv to ask but said they had 4 in and sold them in minutes, so went to game and was told delivery would be there in 10 mins so i waited and got one. All shops are saying they are slowly coming back into stock.0

Sorry folks, but can I jump in here and ask someone to explain to an 'oldie' the basics you need to buy (apart from the monitor or TV obviously) to have a Wii Fit and use it for eg exercising and skiing.
I've been round the shops and am completely confused by the array of packages, accessories, software. All different prices, with/without boards? etc.
Thanks0 -

Apart from the obvious of the Wii, TV, you don't need anything other than Wii Fit. Wii Fit is £69.99 and you don't need anything else.
The games you see on TV are included, the jogging, football heading, hula hooping, ski jump and ski Slarlom, as are the Yoga and excersise "games".
The Wii mat, battery pack, sweatband etc are not needed. I've had mine since I got it and it's still on it's first set of batteries, but I'm not using it for hours or every day, they just want to flog more accessories and get more whilst its in short supply.
The rechargable battery pack is useful, but remember you can get a bundle of pound shop batteries and use them for less.
The Mat is a simple foam mat nothing special.
Everything else is jsut to shift stock, just like the fact you had to buy a bundle of games with the Wii when they were in short supply.0
