You could try https://www.ebuyer.com
People also leave ratings and comments-that maybe helpful to ya. Prob best to spend a little more and get 5* rated ones :cool:0 -
if you have a local pound shop look in there - i buy some at 5 for £1 and they are good....also stationary box do some good cdrs at 10 for £5 without cases but i store most of mine in a cd folder anyway so that doesnt matter.....
by the way - cdr means you cant write over it whereas cdrw means you can....just incase you didnt know....took me ages to find out0 -
Take a look at the following sites, they have a range of cd's and dvd's at prices to suit all budgets.

I use imation, they are available from Argos (and many other places) £7.99 for 25, £12.99 for £50, £17.99 for 100. You could also get them online but then you have to pay for p&p. I've copied my entire music collection onto imation discs and never had any problems.
Hope this helps0 -
thanks all for your responses - very helpful. And no, Magoogy I didn't know that either, so thanks for that.
If these thanks are late its because I didn't get my email notifications - don't know why. but never mind I knew mse'rs wouldn't let me down.Stop looking for answers....

I've bought Benq blank disks off Ebay for around 20p each and am very satisfied with them. No wallets with them, though.0

Being a skinflint I have been using the cheapest discs available from ebuyer or blankdiscshop for a few years - I very rarely have any compatibility issues burning music cd's, burning divx for standalone players or for data discs.
In my experience even the cheapest cds do the job - you may want to use pricier discs if you are an audiofile (I'm not !) or for archiving important stuff (like your photos) but for day to day use the cheapest are fine for me.
I usually buy in 100s for less than 10p a disc.0 -
To be honest there's not much difference between the brands these days, although some car CD players can be picky.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
