I have a Nat West credit card outstanding balance which has had the interest frozen for the last 6 years. I have been paying reduced payments and have never been late or missed a payment. If I was to ask for a settlement figure would this leave me with a black mark on my credit rating? Thanks
Does your credit report show a black mark at the moment? If it does, it'll probably be on it for 6 years from settling the account. Be worth a look at yours to see."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Thanks Jock, no it doesn't. Will pay it all off.
