Car Insurance Match

I am 21 and passed my driving test in December 2007 (my first test was cancelled after my instructor forgot to tell me he was on holiday, second test cancelled when I lost my licence.) I have since purchased a car and it is insured for £430 a year under my employee benefit car insurance. The only snag is I'm changing jobs in May and lose the employee car insurance, and my cheapest quote on confused.com came to £2,700 a year.
A friend suggested I take my £430 premium and see if a company like Churchill will price match it. Do all insurance companies offer this, or a select few? Where's the best place to start and what's the best way to approach them?
P.S. I'm not driving a Chelsea tractor or a Ferarri :-P

companies that promise to beat your renewal, will only beat your renewal not any quote that you have or if you are intending to change your pol midterm. The big thing however is that if you have had any special (eg staff/employee benefit) discounts applied then you will not qualify as its not like for like basis.
it might be woth sticking with the job for a few months up to renewal to get the years ncd - as if you change midterm you will lose that.0
