Kittyclaire, it's good that Capital One reduced the charges this time. It's worth bearing in mind though that you should make at least the minimum monthly payment on your credit cards, because missing a payment does have an adverse effect on your credit record.

I think people have been a little harsh on this thread. I for one hope you will stay around as there is lots of useful stuff to help people get in control of their finances.

If you are going to respond to what people write, it's worth knowing that you can click on the "quote" button on the bottom right hand side to make it easier.
