Economy 7 tariffs
Hi Folks,
I've recently received an update from EON that my new unit price for electricity will be 26.681p for the first 225 kWh per quarter, and 10.374p thereafter.
Which has gone up around 6p per kWh, not massive, although ebicom are offering a tariff with 10.970p kWh units. massive differnce. This company is
Ebico is a small not-for-profit energy company founded in 1998 and run by a Christian charity. Their gas tariff (EquiGas) and electricity tariff (EquiPower) are typically good for prepayment customers but offer only a basic service.
Ebico uses Scottish and Southern Energy as their licensed supplier to deliver EquiGas and EquiPower.
Please note energywatch do not make available any figures about their levels of service or complaints, and with their basic services, we have thus given them a moderate service rating.

This all sounds like a too good to be true offer, so am I just being too sceptical about this company?
One thing though Ebico is a subidury of Scottish & Southern Electric so they are likey to put their prices up in april to quote Martin Lewis, although because the company is not for profit I imagine their prices will be less that EON anyway?

Why don't you visit Ebico's website and find out more about them.
http://www.ebico.co.uk/website2008/pages4/home4.php
They are NOT a subsidiary of Scottish and Southern, however S&S are used by them for supply and billing.
There prices have not changed since September 2006
They do benchmark against S&S so their prices may rise when there's do.
Typically Ebico are cost effective for lower than average users.
I'm with them and have no complaints. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
