Printer naffs up after printing three sheets of paper

Options
Epson cx3600 goes on the blink after three print outs? I’ve only used it once a month for three months?
I’ve cleaned the ink jet nozzle I’ve reset the print head and it still wont print properly.
Half the page is missing and sometimes all of it? The ink is full and I’m really peeved.
Anyone else had this problem with the cx3600?
I’m going to take it back and get new one

I've only printed three sheets of paper? it was some text on two and a picture and some text for my son thats all?
I'm not poor i'm just skint

If you have only used it once a month, thats probably the problem.

Epson's are notorious for not liking to be sat doing nothing, as a general rule you should make sure it prints something at least once a week - even if it's just a generic test page.

It affects most Epson printers if I remember correctly.

    Agreed,

Printers are made to be used regularily, even if you do clean the nozzles after the month of non usage it still wont of done the printer heads / cartridges any good.

However i would say that it is not just unique to EPSONs but also any printer. If you don't print it wont last so long! Maybe it would have been worth u buying a cheaper printer in the first place?

Is it true that some cheap cartidges are recycled, and bits of dirt can get into ink if you refill cartridges; dirt, that can't be seen can block the ink heads? I've not looked into how plausable it is but I've had problems with magenta after using choice stationary for my ip1500.
I switched to inkrite on the advice that they arn't refilled & they were good for 6 before I tried choise stationary.
    (inkrites from ebuyer.com)
just wondered if anyone could inject any know into it.
