Is Zing still there?
Comments
-
This is the e-mail I got from them on 1st August. Interesting that, now it seems that, only a couple of weeks later, the 'July/August' issue has now become the 'July/August/September' issue.... (and no, I didn't subscribe...)
Dear Daisy,
Thank you for your email. The reason for combining the two issues is purely logistical and Zing is very much still in business. If you subscribe, you and your friend will both receive your first issue at the end of August (this is the July/August issue) and will receive 11 issues after that. Combining June and August does not reduce the amount of issues you will receive. Production schedules are in for the next 12 issues and Zing! is very much here to stay.
Best wishes,

Update: I e-mailed them last night asking if the next issue was going to be a combined July/August/Sept issue. Here is the reply:
Hi Daisy
No it is still the July/August issue and is being sent out at the end of august to arrive at the end of August, or beginning of September. Your September issue will then be sent at the end of September with all vouchers running well into October.
Best wishes,

Someone from the magazine have just called regarding advertising in their next issue - due out October ! It all seems a bit suspect, to be honest, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.0

sigh, well worst case scenario, I lose my £9. However, seeing as I've gained aroudn £170 from the last lot of Zing vouchers, I won't feel too annoyed0

I was told it would be out towards the end of August and since it is nearly that and still no sign of it i am getting a bit consurned about my £9 subs??
Anyone have any light to shed on this??
Thank you0 -
I've merged your thread with this one as they are discussing the exact same thing!

This is the reply I got:
"My apologies for the delay in getting your magazine out to you. The July and August issues have been combined into one and will be sent to you at the beginning of September. This has been for logistical reasons so that we can get the magazines out to you at the beginning of every month to avoid any further confusion. This doesn’t decrease the amount of issues you will be receiving as you will still receive 12 in total and the vouchers in the July/August issue only expire well into September so the time you have to redeem them doesn’t decrease either."0 -
My apologies for the delay in getting your first magazine out to you. The July and August issues have been combined into one and will be sent to you in September (around 8th). This has been for logistical reasons so that we can get the magazines out to you at the beginning of every month to avoid any further confusion. This doesn’t decrease the amount of issues you will be receiving as you will still receive 12 in total and the vouchers in the July/August issue only expire well into September so the time you have to redeem them doesn’t decrease either.
Kind Regards,
Joanne
