Is Zing still there?

I sent them an e-mail expressing concern that it had been posted on another forum that they had gone out of business. I got this reply:

Is anyone still there? Have we all been ripped off for £9?

I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM RED APPLE PUBLISHING LTD ON THE 7TH JULY TO WELCOME ME TO THE ZING MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION AND WAS TOLD MY FIRST COPY WOULD BE SENT AT THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST . THERE IS A PHONE NUMBER ON THE LETTER 0845 2260801 AND A WEB SIT AT www.redapplepublishing.co.uk I THINK THIS IS A LEGITIMATE PUBLISHING COMPANY AND DON'T THINK YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.........0

Thanks , I hope you're right --- I think it may be a different company called Zing --- but e-mails get bounced back. This is what I saw on Bob's forum:
"Important Notice from Zing

Why on earth would Zingmag be connected with a company called Zing who provide a Java Server Chat Engine or a 3D chat interface?
Even their website has always been zingmag.co.uk NOT zing.com. I spoke to someone at customer services last week and everythign was normal.0 -
Yes I reckon you're right! Just panicked a bit as I'd got my 78 year old mother to subscribe to help her save money. I've taken out 2 subscriptions, but I'm less bothered for myself.0

Just visited the website. Not very up-to-date, is it. Here we are at the end of July and it is still saying that issue 2 is due in June!
Have people who subscribed been receiving the issues each month, okay?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
I have received mine ok up to now, and the coupons I have used so far in the issues that I have had, have been more than enough to cover the £9 I paid, so although I hope it continues, I am not going to lose any sleep worring about it0
-
Same here Millie, the issues I got last month already covered more than the cost of subs.0
-
Hi Millie, have you received an issue for July yet? I have received May and June, and have since subscribed again for my mum, but neither of us has received the July issue yet.
