I am so angry  - I always pay my cc bill off each month. I usually round it up to the nearest pound above the amount. I must have mis-read the amount due as I rounded it off to the nearest pound below and for the fact that I missed 22p I have been charged £19.31 in interest. I know the interest is calculated on the balance from the day of purchases but I am so mad as I pay off each month in order to avoid interest and for just 22p I am paying dearly.
I know they won't reimburse me but I am going to bombard them with complaints.

Don't waste your life talking to the Indian call centre give Chester a ring explain how this little mistake has happen be calm and polite and ask them to waiver the charge this time.
If they do great
If they don't ...
Set up a DD for the minimum payment each month ,you can then go online and pay more if you want to but this way you won't get any charges.

Hi just to let you know I rang the Chester number and they looked at my past payment history and the fact that it was mispaid by 22p and have said they will reimburse the interest charges.
Result.
Thanks for that number, I'll put in somewhere safe for future reference.0
