Hi, my husband has a preference account card with BOS - over the past few months he has been late with payments and each month they have charged a £25 late payment fee, two questions - a. I didn't think they were allowed to charge more than £12, b. has anyone on here any experience of reclaiming in regard to BOS and more specifically a pref ac card ?
Thanks
Thanks

Why don't you sent them a CCA request? If you've had this account for any length of time then you might well find that he has an 'agreement' which is unenforceable. You would then be in a much stronger position to claim back the charges plus interest. I had one of those accounts - I got it when I bought a car on credit. I didn't ask for it though and sure enough when I asked the question they couldn't produce an agreement.
Regards.
