Hello everyone!
Cor blimey my day's taken a good turn. After discussing/thinking about bankruptcy this morning, I had a big chat with my ex, had another look at my finances, and actually worked out that I *don't* need to petition for bankruptcy - I won't be paying rent soon enough (HA house), I've just cancelled my Sky tv (saving of £40 a month), money saved on not smoking is £150 a month (minimum!). He has agreed to take on one of my loan payments, saving me a further £80 a month for a while, too. So that gives me the chance to get myself out of the little sticky mess I'm in and get on an even keel...
Plus! I discovered £100 sitting in an old account that I had totally forgotten about! That happened today after finding out Sky had taken another DD leaving me with £15 to live off til Feb 29th.....but now I have £115!!
Woooooooooooooooooooo! Saving of £40 AND a little bonus of £100!
Things are on the up!

Hi all - everyone else from work away to a lunch today and I'm in the office on my tod. One of the nasties has said, "It's only a fiver" like it's nothing, while to me it's about 25% of what I have to live off for the next 3 weeks which includes food and travel :rolleyes:
Oh well, I enjoyed my dry bread from Tesco for my lunch!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
