  • I'd be very shocked if amy winehouse won something at the brits. I mean what kind of role model is she for the music industry and for her young fans?

She's really not, is she? Although I have two words for you - Paul McCartney!

Apparently before he got famous for marrying some gobby model, he had a proper music career with a band called the Beetles or sommat, and had the odd drugs related brush with the law himself. And HE's getting an 'Outstanding Contribution' award...lol!

I thought it was her ma & pa tonight? Gawd, don't tell me its a family affair...

And I doubt you lot would be the only ones sneaking your drink in - it IS in Liverpool & I was doing that when I went out in Liverpool :D

Speaking of Royal Mail - they appear to have mislaid a letter sent Recorded to a now-ex-hairdressers asking for my cash back after a disasterous hair-do

So jealous about the Brits. I'd love to see live music, I've been to one concert in my entire life.

Whereabouts do you live Gem? Are you far from the "normal" concert venues?

That means it'll be Dame Winehouse then for her in 25 years time! :p

Washing done, (on the radiator, don't have a tumble drier, too foggy to put outside :( ), dog walked and a couple of yellow sticker bits grabbed in Asda.

Thought I might get all the paperwork for my new job today, but it's just arrived and nothing there. Apparently it will be a bit of a paper mountain when it arrives

  • Poorly cat day today...
My black moggie, Turkey has been unwell so took him to the vets this morning-2 hours later (and £160! Thank god we have insurance) and the poor little boy has got diabetes!
    Ah, bless.
And we have to inject him 2 times a day now.:o

We're off to go see 'National Treasure 2' in a bit as I have some vouchers (lol, OH doesn't know I got them free! mwah ha ha!);)

Weather here very mild, which is nice and I bought myself a pair off trainers for my birthday (had vouchers) and they are dead nice...also bought myself a really cute T-shirt from Matalan that I will wear on Saturday and will post a picture of. ;)

Very far from. I'm about at South West as you can get in England.
