I couldn't get the special offers at all. I live in Lee, and I'm fairly sure that Tesco in Lewisham is my nearest main store (although there may be a Tesco Metro in Hither Green?). Yet when I log in to Tesco Online the wines all come up as full price, or 25% off at the most.
How do I tell the online store which main store I want to use and want to see the offers for? Does it just pick the closest store to my home address? If so, how do I see these super-duper offers?
Thanks a lot,

Have I got this right?
1. Go to Tesco web site. This automatically requires you to 'log in', once you have previously registered your details. Order a selection of Fine Wines from the Tesco web site. Select Fine Wines section. Start filling in your on-line Basket.
2. Ignore the Checkout price total. At this stage expect no massive discounts to show up.
3. Complete the Checkout procedure and select a slot for Delivery.
4. When it arrives, duly inspect Delivery Paperwork, where you will hopefully now, be very pleasantly surprised.
5. If the final invoice price at 4. above doesn't grab you. Take all the Fine Wine back to the store for a refund.
I'd absolutely love to do this. However, as yet, I am not at all persuaded it is going to work out in my favour.
I am really up to try this one and I await more information with baited breath.0 -

I just tried this, none of the fine wines were reduced.
Then I updated my address(!), and went back, empty basket,
this time there was no Fine Wines option at all0 -
I made an order yesterday - for delivery friday.
But now if I look at the fine wines on the website there are only 3 wines available and none of them are on offer. Not sure if the original sale was a mistake and they've stopped it or they've sold out of everything.
Not sure whether to cancel the delivery.
Either way I'm not confident that £300 of wine/champagne is going to turn up for £90 tomorrow.
It sounds like from the terms and conditions I can refuse to accept any goods with a price I wasn't expecting to pay. Might be stuck with the delivery charge though.0 -
Docproc, I wish you were right, but it seems that when you log in, it automatically locates your closest delivery store and gives you the prices from that store only.
From what has been posted already, it appears that only the Lewisham store (or wherever it is !) has these megabargains.
Don't know why that would be, does no-one in Lewisham drink posh wine then (apart from the OP of course !).
Your only way of getting these prices appears to be by selecting a delivery address in the Lewisham area.0 -
