lo all, i would like to take out a life assurance policy on my mother who is 75 years old, is this too late would they take it , if so where do i start?

Check this out, he gives you a list of brokers who rebate any commission. The only way to find out is to give them a call

If you have an insurable interest then it is legal for you to have life assurance on her life for which you benefit. If there is no insurable interest then it will not pay out.

From memory (as protection isnt my specialist area) if you are aged over 75, life protection stops falling under protection authorisation and falls under investment class authorisation. That may prevent a number of sites quoting. It doesnt mean you cannot get life cover. It just means you need an IFA (discount or otherwise) and not a protection only adviser/broker.
