  • The bradley stoke one is good for buyers, but not so for sellers. My better half did one in portishead and sold loads of stuff for really good prices, and then did the bradley stoke one a few weeks later. She said there was to much competition and the result was thet the only way they could sell stuff was to almost give it away. Some people do only sell carp, but my partner is quite fussy and it was all quite good stuff. My advice would be to find a mid sized one in a reasonable area.
  • I did the one on frenchay common this year and it was pretty good ... however i went along to the one at whitchurch and even if i said something was 50p!!! they would still haggle!!!!
I love a bargain ... but I usually end up spending more than i bargained for!

My friend lives in Bristol but always used to do a car boot at Brean on bank holidays, she said she was selling utter rubbish left over from previous car boots and still managed over £100!

  • I'm looking for a good one in Bristol to sell at this Sunday. I know that there is one in Stroud but would prefer Bristol, as it's closer to home.

What would be the best one? (and what time would I have to get up!)
