Bristol - what's the best Car Boot to sell at?

Hi,

I'm thinking of doing a Car Boot in Bristol in Bradley Stoke, and I'm wondering if it's the best one to do for selling?

Can someone local please advise.

hi paulina,
personally i think the best car boots to sell at here in the summer are witchurch on a saturday afternoon and keynsham on a sunday(although they are not every sunday-could check dates if you want to pm me).

I live north of bristol and have noticed a large car-boot taking place weekends in a field next to the M4 just before the M4/M5 intersection travelling west...........................but I can't for the life of me work out how to get to it but it's always ,always busy



any ideas anyone

I have no idea, but I was just about to post a similar thread, as I was reading about someone who picked up a breadmaker for £2, and wanted to start trawling them!! I used to go with my dad as a kid on Sundays too, and always had fun. As I live in Bath, this is a great thread, and if anyone can pm me details about local car boots id be most grateful!!

(oh - and if you are selling at one - pm me a list of what you have for sale, I might wanna reserve something for a good price for both of us!! lol)

the whitchurch car boot is saturday afternoons...best time to get there is about 12pm.

the keynsham one isnt regular....i know there is one next sunday the 31st as im doing it but could check the other dates for you if you want and post them? its sunday mornings....best time to get there about 7.30/8am.

tollgate car park in broadmead has one on sunday mornings too....best time to get there about 7.30/8am....but this one isnt as good in the summer as its undercover so tends to attract less sellers.

frenchay common have one occasionally on bank holidays....next bank holiday is 29th august so worth checking if they have one then.

bradley stoke do one and ive heard its good but not sure what day/time.......thats the one you've seen trafalger.

Trafalgar - The carboot you've seen from the motor way is the one in Bradley stoke - you would need to exit at Aztec West and have a map to find it (Trench Lane). It starts at 8am and is every Sunday in the summer.

Jo - There is a car boot every Sunday next to Lansdown race course. It starts at 8am. P.S. I haven't got a breadmaker for sale!

Thanks Paulina!! Lansdown race course is really close, every sunday is excellent!! Ill be there next week, as I didnt see this in time for today - oops!!

Theres often a nice big boot sale in Gordano School Fields, Clapton Lane, Clapton in Gordano(Portishead basically) the turninig opposite the school. Think one coming up soon-if I see any signs I will post details here

Went along to Bradley Stoke a couple of weeks ago and nothing was going on, are they all finished for the year or where else can I sell all da goodies from a big clear out ?
