I received mail from Barclaycard about this.......

You need to signup for MyStuff [which covers insurance for upto 3 portable electronic items]. 30 day trial period is free and after that it is £6.99/month. This can be cancelled before 30 day expires!

Not much info about the player....it says it has a sharp 1.66''color LCD,built in FM radio and integrated microphone for voice recording!
plays MP3 and WMA music files
    Displays JPEG files
    1GB flash memory
includes USB cables, earphones, rechargable lithium-ion battery, and installation CD

    Anyone got similar mail?

Is it worth going for it? I will ring them for further detail and post:o

I received this offer back in December. I have still not received the welcome pack never mind the MP3 player and they have charged me a month’s subscription even though I cancelled before the free trial period was over.

thanks Ima have to check my bank account. the first picture was not it but the second HIGH resolution one. Its a pretty tacky mp3 player to be honest, plays FM radio though, mp3s, 1gb worth, videos in incredibly tiny screen. sound isnt bad. Feels like a tacky chinese cheapo BUT of course its for free.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

  • Yes I had it and sent it back last week. Going to cancel the contract as soon as I receive it though, as they said you cancel at any time and still keep the item.

it's about 10mm thick and arrived within about 2 weeks I think (didn't really keep track of when I sent off the voucher.)

seems fairly easy to use, and comes with decent instructions if you can't figure it out yourself (I've only put music on it so far, don't think I would bother using it for videos)

    Got my flyer today!!

Can you confirm it says "1GB flash memory" as I can't see this anywhere and thought they might fob us off with a 512MB version. If it is 1GB it's not bad at all!!!

Already using the 4x£10 petrol vouchers got from Leisuretime that came through from Barclaycard. After the 0% BT has finished might actuall keep the card to see what other freebies I can get!!!

Anybody any idea of the make or model?
Also Google'd MyStuff and can't find a website?
what was the deal with the leisuretime vouchers. i've never had any freebies

About this time last year there was an offer for Barclaycard holders whereby if you signed up to a 30-day (free) trial of "LeisureTime" you'd get petrol vouchers, irrespective of whether the policy was subsequently cancelled. LeisureTime is a club where discount vouchers are issued for activities/days out :)
