Dont get the graphics card upgrade its a big waste of money, you can get a far better card for £53 from Ebuyer rather than paying Dell £65

As for wireless you could always get a USB dongle for about £5
  • Is the firewire card something that can be added later, when I worked out if i need one, or not?

Yes it can be added later but if you get Dell to do it for £5 they put a port on the front of the pc as well as the rear, if you add one yourself you wont have one at the front

For the sake of a fiver, have Dell fit one ( 2 ).;)

You will need one if you plan to use a Camcorder at some stage.
  • Thanks - so how do I add one...

Not havin much luck with Dell, tried to order two of these systems using quidco and hit a snag with the verified by visa segment of the payment process - by the time it was sorted out it was 30 seconds after midnight and the price had gone up :rotfl:

This is the second time I've had problems placing an order. There's always next month but will tell the family to sort out their own orders in future. :shhh:

Thanks again for the good pointers and assistance in the thread.:grouphug:
