Help!!!

I have outstanding debts from my student account overdraft (nearing £4000!) And its now been passed onto a debt company who want to take legal action.

What can I do?? Is there anyway I can get my charges wrote off? This debt has accounted to so much in the passed year whilst I've been trying to reclaim my bank charges back.

Any help and advice is much appriciated x

Hello, you're probably better off posting this in the Debt Free Wannabe Board, it's full of experts who'll be happy to help.

Sorry I can't help anymore than that. Good luck :)

  • One thing to remember is they DON'T want to take you to court as the court will enforce payments you can handle and they won't be able to add on more charges and interest etc. Send them a simple spreadsheet or something setting out what your income is and what your outgoings are and from that what you can afford to pay.

And no you probably can't get it 'written off' and sorry I totally disagree with that mentality.

    Hiya,

The Debt Free Wannabe board (DFW) is definitley the best place for your post, you'll get loads of good advice there, so I'll move the post across for you.

    Good luck. :)
