First time user so please bear with me - I've got an MBNA card with a £3,800 limit !! now 3,830 because I bought a load of cheap Rail Tickets} I was thinking of applying for the 2 year HSBC 0 % balance transfer offer - a struggle but I think I can clear it. My Wife has a MK store card with about £1,400 owing so now the total £5,230 and a bit unrealistic.Would it still be worth applying and doing another bt before the 2 years are up or going for a
bt with longer term.
bt with longer term.

I'd be tempted to apply for one and get your wife to apply too. I bet that MK one card has high interest.
Problem is going to be the limit they offer you, and usually you can only balance transfer to 90% of your credit limit.0 -
Have a look at the "life of balance cards" follow Martin;s articles to the links, this is probably a better option ,or a combination of the two types of cards.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0

Many thanks for the info - Just spoke to HSBC and they will accept both cards.0
