Car Insurance Settlement Question

Hi
I'm after a bit of advice.
My wife's car has been written off. It's a non-fault claim where liability has been admitted by the other party.
Her insurance company (diamond) put us on to their loss recovery partner company (albany) and they sorted a replacement car out etc....
Our dilemma is who do we use to settle the claim?
They have told us that we can use either .
If we use Diamond we lose out NCB untill the claim is settled but they pay out sooner.
The other company recover the loss then pay out, so it will take longer
Our excess is covered either way.
Does anybody have any advice/experience of this situation.

Thanks

Steve

Having had a write off with daimond at christmas, I wouldn't bet that they would be quicker than Albany assistance. It took them 5 wks with no courtesy car.......
