    Disagree, Lugh Chronain. It does not matter if it takes 6 weeks. You'll still wait 6 weeks for all the suppliers to change their tariffs. You then face a subsequent 6 weeks to switch. That means if you wait, you double the time you pay standard rates. There is no reason for anyone still on standard rates not to switch now to a no-penalty dual fuel online tariff.

    If Scottish Power's tariff is reasonable for you, their cashback makes it a no-brainer to choose them for the interim.
