I am a mac user and have been unable to access account on line, it seems that the programmes these banks use only work with PC's unless anyone knows a way through this.

Try firefox, that's cross-platform and works fine for me.0

It's not a question of the browser being cross-platform. The question is whether the website is written to be compatible with various different browsers. If all browsers were standards compliant, these problems wouldn't exist. Sadly, some browsers aren't, IE in particular and yet a lot of websites are Micro$oft and therefore Internet Explorer centric. Egg Money Manager, for instance, will solely work with IE. Bad design.
You could try the Opera browser, which can purport to be Internet Explorer.
Also, have you checked whether you have enabled cookies and JavaScript?Dagobert0 -
