Kingsize divan - Slumberland or Silentnight?

Hi all
I'm looking to buy a new kingsize divan but am stuck with which one to get. Can anyone offer me some advice?
At the moment I am between the Slumberland Memory Seal Deluxe or Premier, or the Silentnight Mirapocket Memory 2100 (Byron).
Both have memory foam on top and pocket springs underneath but the Silentnight also has normal open coils as well.
I have a budget of £700 (thanks to family loan!). The most important thing is that my OH is 6'5'' whereas I am only 5'7'' so the bed needs to be able to cope with our diffferent weights. This is why we'd like the memory foam.
Does anyone know either of these beds?

I personally would not reccommend a silent night!!! There isn't 1 person I kinow who has rated them good (not even sales people)!!! I am in the same situation as you and have been looking for ages for a kingsize bed. I looked on e-bay (bedlam beds), they come very highly reccommended. I have been looking at the calypso bed or if you want a sofetr feel there is the eros. I have recently been to see a physio about my back and they reccommended pocket spring (all pocket spring) but I really would like memory foam too and she said that would be fine as long as I stuck with pocket springs. I also saw a really good mattress on the web called the 'enchantment'. It's by sealy but it's not cheap. Okay of you don't mind paying £450 but it looks a fab mattress.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think I'll knock out the Silentnight divan but am now between Slumberland and Sealy.
I'm inclined to get the Slumberland Memory Seal but don't know which one. The Deluxe has 1200 pocket springs whereas the Premier has 1600. Will I actually notice the extra 400 springs for the extra £100??
Any thoughts??

Hi, we have the memory seal royal (which is a step up from the deluxe). We find it really comfy. Our local Cousins had them all there to test and we found the premier a hard and 'high' for us ( it seems a deeper mattress).

We got our from matressman and paid just over £300 for the mattress (double). You can also get 6% through quidco.

It actually works out cheaper than the luxury which is the entry level pocket/memory one.

have to agree with that. we are on our third replacement in a year due to "distorted springs" - i think they'[re just rubbish!

I can't say too much, but you have actually miss spelled the seller, and advised a completely different company.

Costco also do Sealy and Rest Assured. From 24th-30th March they are doing beds at 20% off as part of the Spring Wallet.

We had a 4' 6" rest Assured for years - just upgraded to a 5' - got Rest Assured again. Still have the other bed in the spare room.
