£200 monitor for a 7 year old?????
Buy her a £50 old-fashioned 17" monitor and put £150 in her savings account instead!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
There are plenty of reviews about. Try to get the best for the £200 as it's young eyes that'll be constantly fixed on the screen.
Have a look at:

and

Below are some good makes:
Viewsonic VP171 (£205)
Viewsonic VX715 (£170)
Iiyama ProLite E435 (£180)
or budget end Relisys TL795-RU (£160)
I currently have the Sharp LG172GB mentioned in the first of the two links. It's about £240, so a bit out of your range, but still a very good monitor."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Thanks Wolfman for your reply, I'll have a look at the sites you posted.
Iainkirk. Thanks for your comments. My daughter goes onto the computer as well as her son. Homework, even for 7 year olds is becoming very computer aware and her aim is to have a decent monitor for him0 -
They did have some 19 inch Tft monitors at aldis a while back for under £200 I think.
I was going to buy one for a second display monitor? but the wife nicked the spare cash.
I have a 17 inch wide screen at the moment and its good for watching wide screen movies I'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
Thanks boogiemaster. I'll check my local aldi0
